Hussain Sajwani, Chairman and Owner of DAMAC Properties, is a UAE’s successful businessman and philanthropist. He founded DAMAC Properties in 2002 and has grown rapidly to appear in Forbes’ list of 2017 Global 2000 and ranked number 1.

One of their efforts include the founding of the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiative (MBRGI), a worldwide foundation that is responsible for the One Million Arab Coders Initiative.

One Million Arab Coders Program

This is a program which is intended to train and equip students with both software development skills and programming skills. It is expected to last for a period of two years. It is being undertaken through various phases. The specialized online courses are being offered after every three months.

The One Million Arab Coders is one of the strategies that the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiative is using to advance and spread education across the Arab world.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiative is aiming to advance the skills of students in programming to give them a better chance of getting employed in the future. The program is being implemented through online courses and certification of students.

The fields that the curriculum covers include: Front and Back End Web Development, Android Development as well as Data Analysis.
